Isekai Borg - Episode 0

This week's post is a sort of "Session 0" for the new series dedicated to a solo campaign of mine that'll start in a few weeks, Isekai Borg.

But what is Isekai Borg, exactly?

Born from a similar idea I've also been working on, Mork Wars, Isekai Borg is a solo framework I've been working on for a few months now. I'm not to the point of sharing it publicly yet, though I hope I will in the future; this campaign is also my way of testing the system.

In short, Isekai Borg is a framework for a solo campaign where you have a character who finds themselves trapped in a series of virtual worlds (the various Borg games) with no recollection of who they are, trying to survive and, through each success, discover more details about their life and what brought them there.
It can then lead to a subsequent Cy_Borg campaign or end once you complete enough worlds to recover your memories: I plan on going with the former option, using this framework as just the launchpad for the bigger campaign.

The characters I'll use in this campaigns are the ones I've created in my character creation series throughtout the past year. I know character creation in Borg games is so fast it can be done in the past, but doing it this way helped me figure out which games I wanted to include in my campaign and also bought me time to work on the framework itself (although, as I've said, it's not finished yet).

So, if you're interested in this upcoming campaign, see you in 3 weeks for episode 1!

This is all for this week, see you next Sunday for my next post!

May your dice never betray you,
Kirhon
